Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: July 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the NaijaGC website, available at naijagc.com, and any related enquiry, support, and gift card exchange services provided through our official channels.

In these Terms, “NaijaGC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the NaijaGC service. “You” and “your” refer to any person who visits the website, submits an enquiry, or uses our services.

By accessing the website or submitting a request, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or continue with an exchange request.

1. About NaijaGC

NaijaGC is an independent online gift card exchange service primarily serving eligible users in Nigeria.

The website provides information about:

  • Supported gift card categories;
  • Current rate enquiries;
  • Exchange requirements;
  • The steps involved in submitting and reviewing a request;
  • Official contact and support channels;
  • Educational gift card guides.

NaijaGC does not claim to be affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any gift card issuer or brand referenced on the website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use the NaijaGC service.

By submitting a request, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • The information you provide is accurate and current;
  • You have the legal right to submit the gift card;
  • The gift card was obtained through a lawful source;
  • Your use of the service does not violate any applicable law or third-party right;
  • You are acting for yourself unless NaijaGC has agreed otherwise in writing.

NaijaGC may decline to continue where eligibility cannot reasonably be confirmed.

3. Supported Gift Cards

The gift card categories shown on the website are general categories only.

A category being listed does not guarantee that every card within that category will be accepted. Availability may depend on factors including:

  • Gift card type and format;
  • Card value and currency;
  • Issuing country or region;
  • Card condition;
  • Receipt availability;
  • Current category demand;
  • Applicable restrictions;
  • Information supplied during review.

Supported categories and applicable requirements may change without prior notice.

4. Submitting an Enquiry

To request the current rate, you may initially be asked to provide basic information such as:

  • Gift card category;
  • Card value and currency;
  • Issuing country or region;
  • Physical or digital format;
  • Receipt availability;
  • A brief description of your request.

Submitting an enquiry does not require you to complete an exchange.

Please use only the contact form, email address, WhatsApp number, or other official channel published on naijagc.com.

5. Current Rates and Quotes

Rates are not permanently fixed and may change according to card details, issuing region, availability, current demand, and other review factors.

A quote:

  • Applies only to the information submitted;
  • May have a limited validity period;
  • May change if the submitted details are incomplete or inaccurate;
  • May be revised if the card differs from the original description;
  • Does not guarantee final acceptance.

You should review the quoted rate and applicable requirements before deciding whether to continue.

NaijaGC will not be bound by an obvious typographical, technical, or calculation error.

6. Accepting or Declining a Quote

You may accept or decline a quote before continuing with the exchange process.

Requesting or receiving a quote does not create an obligation to proceed.

If you accept the quote, you may be asked to follow additional instructions through an official NaijaGC contact channel. Acceptance remains subject to review of the information and gift card submitted.

7. Review of Gift Cards

NaijaGC may review submitted information to determine whether a gift card meets the applicable requirements.

A request may be accepted, adjusted, delayed, or rejected where reasonably necessary.

Possible reasons include:

  • The gift card is invalid, inactive, previously used, restricted, or unreadable;
  • The issuing region is not currently supported;
  • Required information is missing or inconsistent;
  • The submitted card differs from the original description;
  • Ownership or lawful source cannot reasonably be confirmed;
  • The card appears altered or duplicated;
  • The category is temporarily unavailable;
  • The request presents unusual activity or operational concerns;
  • Continuing would conflict with applicable law or third-party restrictions.

NaijaGC may request clarification or additional information before reaching a decision.

8. Completion of an Exchange

An exchange is considered complete only after:

  • The applicable requirements have been met;
  • The submitted gift card has completed review;
  • NaijaGC has confirmed acceptance;
  • The agreed exchange amount has been completed through the method confirmed with the customer.

Website messages, automated notifications, or preliminary quotes do not by themselves confirm completion.

You should keep relevant communication records until the request has been concluded.

9. Cancellations

You may cancel an enquiry before accepting a quote.

After you accept a quote and the review process has started, cancellation may depend on the stage already reached and whether the submitted gift card has been accessed, reviewed, used, or otherwise processed.

Any cancellation request should be sent immediately through an official NaijaGC contact channel.

Additional rules are explained in our Refund, Cancellation and Rejection Policy.

10. Customer Responsibilities

When using NaijaGC, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and complete information;
  • Submit only gift cards that you lawfully own or are authorised to submit;
  • Review the quoted rate before agreeing to continue;
  • Follow reasonable instructions provided through official channels;
  • Check contact details before sharing request-related information;
  • Respond within a reasonable time when clarification is requested;
  • Avoid submitting duplicate requests for the same gift card;
  • Keep your communication devices and contact channels under your control;
  • Inform us promptly if you believe a request was submitted without your authority.

You remain responsible for checking the information you provide.

11. Prohibited Uses

  • Upload malware or harmful code;
  • Use automated tools to overload, scrape, or disrupt the website;
  • Harass support personnel;
  • Circumvent restrictions or review procedures;
  • Use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive activity.

NaijaGC may suspend communication, reject a request, restrict access, or preserve relevant records where prohibited activity is reasonably suspected.

NaijaGC may temporarily limit, suspend, update, or discontinue part of the website for reasons including:

  • Maintenance;
  • Security reviews;
  • Technical problems;

You may view and use the website for personal, lawful purposes.

You may not, without prior written permission:

  • Republish substantial website content;
  • Copy the website design;
  • Use NaijaGC branding to impersonate the service;
  • Remove ownership notices;
  • Use the content for misleading or unlawful purposes.

17. Privacy and Cookies

Information submitted through the website or official channels is handled according to our:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Cookie Policy

Please review those policies before submitting information.

18. Reasonable Limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NaijaGC is not responsible for loss arising solely from:

  • Incorrect information supplied by a user;
  • Use of an unofficial contact channel;
  • Delays caused by incomplete responses;
  • Third-party platform outages;
  • Device, network, or email problems outside our reasonable control;
  • Unauthorised access caused by a user’s failure to control their own communication channel;
  • A gift card being invalid, restricted, previously used, or obtained unlawfully;
  • Decisions made using general website content without requesting a current review.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

19. Complaints and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact NaijaGC first so that concerns can be reviewed.

A complaint should include:

  • Your name;
  • Your contact information;
  • The approximate date of the request;
  • A brief description of the issue;
  • Relevant reference or communication details;
  • The outcome you are requesting.

Do not include unnecessary confidential information in the first message.

NaijaGC will review complaints and aim to provide an initial response within a reasonable period. More complex matters may require additional time or information.

If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, you may have additional rights or complaint options under applicable law. FCCPC guidance encourages online businesses to maintain a complaint process that is accessible and not unnecessarily burdensome to consumers.

20. Changes to These Terms

NaijaGC may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • Website features;
  • Service procedures;
  • Supported categories;
  • Operational requirements;
  • Applicable laws or regulations;
  • Third-party services.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes apply from the date they are published unless otherwise stated.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

22. No Waiver

If NaijaGC does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that the provision has been waived.
